Being Delivered

God delivers his children when they are in any kind of trouble, rescuing them out of it.  Anyone who is a disciple of Jesus will face trouble and will be persecuted.
II Corinthians 4:8: We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
9: Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

II Timothy 3:11: Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the LORD delivered me.
12: Yea, and all that live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecutions.

So we who serve Jesus will most definitely suffer persecutions and afflictions, but the good news is that God will deliver us out of them all.
Psalms 34:19: Many are the afflictions of the righteous; but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.
20: He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.

God also delivers us from temptations, which we all have because of our sinful flesh.
II Peter 2:9: The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
Matthew 6:13: And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: for thine is the kingdom, and the power and the glory, for ever. Amen.

The bible also says that God will save us and protect us from all our enemies.  Anyone who is following Jesus will have enemies, just like Jesus had enemies and people who hated him.
II Kings 17:39: But the LORD your God ye shall fear; and he shall deliver you out of the hand of all your enemies.
Luke 1:74: That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear.

In the old testament there are some examples of people who were delivered by God. Daniel in the lions den is one example.
Daniel 6:16: Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. Now the king spake and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will deliver thee.
17: And a stone was brought, and laid upon the mouth of the den; and the king sealed it with his own signet, and with the signet of his lords; that the purpose might not be changed concerning Daniel.
18: Then the king went to his palace, and passed the night fasting: neither were instruments of musick brought before him: and his sleep went from him.
19: Then the king arose very early in the morning, and went in haste unto the den of lions.
20: And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel: and the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions"
21: Then said Daniel unto the king, O king, live for ever.
22: My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.
23: Then was the king exceedingly glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no manner of hurt was found upon him, because he believed in his God.

So God delivered Daniel in the lions den and shut the lions mouth because he trusted in God and obeyed God when he continued praying to God in front of his open window when there was a decree written that he was not allowed to do so. It is always important to obey God first before any other law.
Daniel 6:27:He delivereth and rescueth, and he worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.

Another example is that of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who were cast into the fiery furnace for obeying God instead of man when they would not bow down to the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar made.
Daniel 3:10: Thou, O king, hast made a decree, that every man that shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, shall fall down and worship the golden image:
11: And whoso falleth now down and worshippeth, that he should be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.
12: There are certain Jews whom thou has set over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve not thy gods, nor worship the gold image which thou hast set up.
13: Then Nebuchadnezzar in his rage and fury commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Then thy brought these men before the king.

Daniel 3:23: And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down boung into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
24: Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonished, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.
25: He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.
So these three men were cast in the fiery furnace and Jesus actually went in there with them and delivered them from being hurt by the fire.

Sometimes a Christian may be in a very bad environment and around much wickedness and people with vile behavior, for instance a godly person in a public school where there are all kinds of queers and reprobates that hate God and even teachers who blaspheme the holy name of Jesus and God. People who are righteous and godly feel vexed, or troubled, in their spirit around such ungodliness, but if they trust in God, God will deliver them and give them a way to escape it.
II Peter 2:7: And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked.
Galations 1:4: Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father.

So remember to always keep serving the Lord and living for him and he will deliver you from every evil work all the days of your life.
II Timothy 4:18: And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
